Out with the old..

Haven't posted in a while because, well, I was sad. Our amendment for the previous house was not accepted by the owners, so Matt and I have been furiously searching for a new place. But the good news is, we found one!

On the plus side, it is way less expensive (to the tune of about 50K), bigger, has a huge garage and a treehouse!

On the minus side, it needs a lot more work and Matt will now have to commute. But we are looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and starting a new project. Now all we need to do is get our current life in order.

Here's a list of pre-move to do's:

1. Go through and get rid of stuff
1. Clothes
2. Books
3. All that stuff in the basement (what is even down there? I'm really not sure)
4. Documents and legal stuff
2. Pack the stuff we don't get rid of
3. Refinish the table in the front room
4. Refinish/repaint bedroom furniture
5. Eat only food we currently have so we don't have to move it (we'll still buy produce, of course) 
6. Keep an eye out for things we need for the new place
1. New mattress for guests
2. Flooring for the upstairs
3. New appliances
4. Tools and yard supplies
