Beware of flashing

The roof, not people, I promise.It just so happens that the workshop part of the garage has a pretty substantial leak. We think its because it was probably an add on, and where the two roofs meet isn't quite put together right. In any case, while we were up there yesterday we took a good look and then bought some oily tar-like stuff in a caulk tube and rust preventing spraypaint and Matt went to town.

He caulked and sealed and he must have done a great job because we got a bunch of rain today and the garage stayed completely dry. He also hammered the gutters back against the side of the garage and now they don't leak in the front. Water: 0, Matt: 1. Yay!

In other news, Leroy's also been working long hours chasing imaginary toys, eating, and following us around. As we say in our house, its a hard kitty life.
