Thanksgiving week, day 2

While I was at work today, Wayne, Gina, and Matt got a lot done. First they bought concrete:

A lot of concrete:

It took a couple trips in the truck, which pulled its weight (you can tell)

with concrete:
 without concrete:

Then, they took out the posts and the beam in the front room:

And, or course, dug some more holes

And filed them with concrete (notice the old litter box being used as a concrete mixer. Poor Leroy will never go back to the salad days of having four litter boxes. (We spoil that cat, seriously):

And dug more holes, in another room:

Wheeeeew. I wasn't even here for most of it and its exhausting. I spent most of the evening getting ready for my first ever Thanksgiving dinner (cooking, not eating, of course). Tomorrow, we dig holes in the crawelspace, pour more concrete, and wait for it to set. And eat ourselves silly on turkey, stuffing, etc. and watch football, of course :)
